The Shenzhen Social
Organization Development Report (2022-2023), guided by the Shenzhen Social
Organization Management Bureau and edited by CGPI, is the fourth blue paper in
the field of social organizations in Shenzhen. The book consists of 14 chapters,
totaling 24,8000 characters. The book, composed of a general report, sub-reports,
special reports, and innovative cases, comprehensively showcases the
achievements and roles of Shenzhen social organizations in social governance,
education, ecological environment protection, and conflict mediation from 2022
to 2023. Professor Tang Hao, director of the Social Policy Research Center at CGPI,
summarized the highlights and themes of the report at the release conference: “compared
with previous years, the topic of the Shenzhen Social Organization
Development Report (2022-2023) is closely related to urban development
strategies and government work priorities; in terms of content, it highlights
the importance of social organizations in promoting high-quality economic
development; structurally, for the first time, excellent social organizations
were invited to contribute ‘innovative cases’ .” At the same time, this book
focuses on the five main themes of promoting social organization development
through party building, social organization construction and development,
social organization assistance in economic development, social organization role
in people’s livelihood, and social organization participation in conflict and
dispute mediation.
