On July 12, 2024, the opening ceremony of the 19th batch of EMP (Executive Management of Philanthropy) of China Global Philanthropy Institute (CGPI) was held in Shenzhen. This is the first batch of trainees after the reform of the EMP teaching system and 103 trainees constitute Public Welfare Scholarship Class. CGPI exclusively funded 20.6 million yuan of scholarship for the first time to encourage outstanding talents in more fields to pay attention to public welfare, invest in public welfare and attract new industries, new formats, new models to establish close cooperation with charity industry and help the cross-border integration and practical implementation of public welfare and business. With the support of scholarships, the trainees in the 19th batch come from more diverse backgrounds, with more than half of them being from business and cross-border fields, which provides a rare opportunity for cross-border exchanges, ideological exchanges, and collaboration.
