With the approaching of the 16th World Autism Awareness Day on April 2, 2023, the China Disabled Persons' Federation proposed the theme slogan: "Care for Children with Autism, Care for and Support Caregivers and Professional Workers for Autistic Individuals.”

Under the guidance of the China Association of Persons with Psychiatric Disability and their Relatives (CAPPDR), the Second Summit Forum on the Influence of Autistic Parents was held in Beijing, sponsored by Beijing Haidian Kangnazhou Autism Family Support Center, and co sponsored by CGPI, One Foundation, and Phoenix Network Public Welfare. As a part of dialogue in this summit forum, Yilun Salon focused on elderly individuals with autism, listened to the ten year journey of parents with autism, and explored effective support paths for families to support the growth of individuals with autism. 

“I hope that this forum can promote all sectors of society to join hands and work together to build a better tomorrow for people with mental disabilities, with autism as leading disease. "Wen Hong, Chairman of CAPPDR, and 12^th phase classmate of the EMP of CGPI, said that the main goal of this forum is to encourage parents to help themselves and actively play a positive advocacy role, participate in research and promote the construction and improvement of social services and social security systems for autism.
