With the approaching of the 23rd International Biodiversity Day, the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity announced the theme of this year, "From Agreement to Action: Build Back Biodiversity", to promote actions in support of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

On May 22, CGPI and the China Green Foundation jointly organized the Yilun Salon, inviting Chen Meina, Secretary General of the China Green Foundation, Yang Zhihua, the former second-level inspector and senior garden engineer of the Beijing Municipal Forestry and Parks Bureau, Jiang Nanqing, Secretary General of the Green Cycle Special Committee of the All-China Environment Federation, President of the Qinghe Recycling Economy and Carbon Neutralization Research Institute, Zheng Lan, General Manager of Beijing Shanshui Partners Cultural Development Co., Ltd and alumnus of EMP6 , in collaboration with the media, jointly focused on biodiversity conservation and sustainable development, exploring the direction of scientific development between development and conservation.
