On the morning of June 24, 2019, the signing ceremony of the DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) project between the China Global Philanthropy Institute and the Audencia Business School was held at the Shenzhen International Innovation Center Campus of the China Global Philanthropy Institute. Andre SOBCZAK, Vice President of Audencia Business School; Wang Zhenyao, Dean of the China Global Philanthropy Institute; Huang Haoming, Deputy Dean of the China Global Philanthropy Institute; You Hong, Executive Director of the China Global Philanthropy Institute; and Shi Donghui, Development Director of Audencia Business School China Branch, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony of the Doctor DBA project.
The DBA program is a combination of Chinese and French business and philanthropy. It aims to cultivate a group of business leaders with a sense of social mission. It is taught by a team of Chinese and French teachers to promote business for social good both academically and practically. The launch of this project is also the first time for the China Global Philanthropy Institute to start a new journey of academic education cooperation.
Wang Zhenyao, Dean of China Global Philanthropy Institute, pointed out at the signing ceremony that under the Belt and Road Initiative of China, more fields of strategic cooperation are needed. The DBA project came into being as the times require, which is not only the educational cooperation between the China Global Philanthropy Institute and Audencia Business School, but also the bridge of educational communication between China and France. It is hoped that both sides can give full play to their respective advantages, build a platform of peace, friendship and mutual assistance through academic exchanges and discussions, and jointly promote and deepen the development of philanthropy in China and France.
Andre SOBCZA, Vice President of Audencia Business School introduced the long history of Audencia, a world-class business school founded in 1900 and currently ranked in the top 10 in France. The Audencia Business School attaches great importance to academic innovation and cooperation and exchange, and recognizes and highly affirms the teaching philosophy of the China Global Philanthropy Institute. The cooperation between the two sides will keep giving full play to the value and mission of social innovation and business responsibility of Audencia Business School based on the consensus on business for social good. We look forward to the positive impact of the cooperation between the two sides. I hope that the DBA project will be a pioneering success with the joint efforts of China and France and look forward to further cooperation between the two sides on more projects.
China Global Philanthropy Institute and the DBA Program of Audencia Business School are committed to the mission of “foster a model of global commonweal” to shape the business value of sustainable development through a Ph.D. Programme in business administration with a global perspective. We will cultivate business leaders with international vision and philanthropy awareness in the new situation and challenge mainly by course upgrading, process optimization, and brand management. The program will develop a three-year doctoral program, focusing on the academic and practical research. The program will officially start enrollment in July 2019.
