On April 7, Mr. Xu Yongguang, a revered alumnus and long time friend of the CGPI paid a visit to the campus. As the former Chairman of the Narada Foundation and a pioneer of modern Chinese philanthropy, Mr. Xu has dedicated decades to advancing the sector, transitioning into a mentor dedicated to cultivating future generations.
Every photograph on the institute’s commemorative wall evoked memories of Mr. Xu’s collaborative journey with the institute, particularly its founding ceremony, where he stood along side Chinese and international philanthropists, government representatives, corporate leaders, and nonprofit peers to witness this historic milestone. As the institute embarks on a new chapter, Mr. Xu once again paused to reflect on this shared timeline and graciously accepted a Letter of Appointment as Visiting Professor from President Chen Hongshan, pledging to impart professional in sights to the next generation of philanthropic leaders.
