On December 21, 2024,  the GRADUATION & OPENING CEREMONY of EMP 2024 Held in Shenzhen. This year’s graduating class comprises 111 scholars, while 35 new students joined the EMP program, marking a significant expansion in enrollment. Notably, a growing proportion of incoming students hail from grassroots philanthropic organizations—a shift reflecting a deeper demand for professional training in China’s philanthropic sector.

This milestone not only surpasses the 1,000-student threshold for EMP’s total alumni but also demonstrates a transformation in the profile of philanthropic professionals. While EMP traditionally attracted sector leaders, today’s learners span a broader spectrum of philanthropic organizations and individuals committed to social impact. Such developments underscore a strong and sustainable momentum toward professionalization in China’s philanthropic field.
