On the occasion of the 112th “Women’s Day”, the first Philanthropy Salon 2022 was hosted by CGPI in Beijing. As an important institution for cultivating the professional capacity of social forces, CGPI, together with representatives of the National People’s Congress, legislative experts, and front-line public figures, discussed the challenges faced by social forces and the unique role they can play in the protection of women’s rights and interests.
Figures present at the salon include: Zhang Baoyan, deputy to the National People’s Congress, chairman of the “Baby back Home” Volunteer Association, student of the EMP program of CGPI; Liu Meng, level-2 professor and dean of the College of Law and Political Science of Zhejiang Normal University, and former vice president of China Women’s University; Bai Yaqin, chairman of the Beijing Happy Family Science Education Philanthropy Promotion Center, chairman of the Beijing Women and Children’s Social Service Development Promotion Association, and head of the first research project on the role of fathers in family education in China; Wan Fei, founder of Women and Children’s Rights Protection Association under the Blue Sky of Jianli City, Hubei Province, and EMP student of CGPI; and Huang Haoming, vice president of CGPI.
