On March 3, 2021, the 3.5
"Lei Feng Memorial Day" and the 16th "Shenzhen Volunteer
Day" were officially kicked off in Guanlan River Park, Longhua District
this morning, which was co-sponsored by the China Communist Youth League
Shenzhen Committee, the Shenzhen Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, the Shenzhen
Water Authority, the Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission, the Shenzhen
Municipal City Administration and Comprehensive Law-enforcing Bureau, and the
Shenzhen Longhua District Committee of the Communist Party of China.
The blue book of voluntary
service in Shenzhen—"Annual Report on Development of Voluntary Service in
Shenzhen (2020)" was solemnly released at the event. Edited by the
Shenzhen Voluntary Service Foundation and the China Global Philanthropy
Institute, the report comprehensively explains the time background, historical
process, status quo and management characteristics of the development of
voluntary service in Shenzhen, summarizes the challenges faced by the
development and management of voluntary service in Shenzhen, and provides
trends research and suggestions for its development.
The book is a well-known book
brand of the Social Sciences Academic Press and a renowned academic brand of
the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. It is a public publication that
monitors the development status and hot issues of China and the world, and
analyzes and predicts the status quo and development trend of a certain field
or region from a professional perspective and expert vision with empirical
research methods. Characterized by its frontier, originality, positivity,
continuity, and timeliness, the research and creation of this book series as a
think tank result has been widely recognized by the society. It is also an

The blue book of voluntary service
in Shenzhen—“Annual Report on Development of Voluntary Service in Shenzhen (2020)”was initiated and guided by the China Communist Youth League Shenzhen Committee. It has
received strong support from the Shenzhen Volunteer Federation and the full
cooperation of relevant government units, voluntary organizations and
volunteers. As the first blue book of voluntary services in Shenzhen, this book
sorts out the 30-year history of the development of voluntary services in
Shenzhen, analyzes the status quo, characteristics and trends of its
development, and reports on development issues in some key areas.
The "Annual Report on
Development of Voluntary Service in Shenzhen (2020)" consists of 14
chapters and 298,000 words, including one general report, five special reports,
four case reports and appendices.
