On May 26, 2021, the “Operations Guide for Star Philanthropy” (hereinafter referred to as the “Guide”) were released in Beijing.
The “Guide” dedicates to provide practical skills such as basic knowledge, practical steps, cases of public good, and related resource indexes for public figures in the entertainment circle who intend to launch public service activities as well as their teams, so as to motivate more influential people in the entertainment industry to join in the charitable undertakings of China, and promote the philanthropic acts of celebrities to be more professional, standardized, normalized and sustainable.
The “Guide” was initiated by the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation together with the China Global Philanthropy Institute (CGPI), which has received vigorous support from Sina Gongyi Weibo, National Public Service Advertising Innovation Research Base of Communication University of China, Beijing Entertainment Law Society, The Paper, Huang Xiaoming Tomorrow Foundation and so on.
