Recently, the Shenzhen Social Organization Blue Paper Release Conference and Special Report on Social Organization Participation in Social Governance were held at the 10th China Charity Fair. During the event, the Shenzhen Social Organization Blue Paper —— Shenzhen Social Organization Development Report (2022-2023) and the Shenzhen Social Organization Conflict Mediation Model were grandly released, and the appointment ceremony of Shenzhen Social Organization Conflict Mediation Experts was held. This special report was guided by the Shenzhen Social Organization Management Bureau, hosted by CGPI and Shenzhen Social Work College of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and supported by the Social Sciences Academic Press and Shenzhen Non-Governmental Organization Federation.
The Shenzhen Social Organization Development Report (2022-2023), guided by the Shenzhen Social Organization Management Bureau and edited by CGPI, is the fourth blue paper in the field of social organizations in Shenzhen. The book consists of 14 chapters, totaling 24,8000 characters. The book, composed of a general report, sub-reports, special reports, and innovative cases, comprehensively showcases the achievements and roles of Shenzhen social organizations in social governance, education, ecological environment protection, and conflict mediation from 2022 to 2023. Professor Tang Hao, director of the Social Policy Research Center at CGPI, summarized the highlights and themes of the report at the release conference: “compared with previous years, the topic of the Shenzhen Social Organization Development Report (2022-2023) is closely related to urban development strategies and government work priorities; in terms of content, it highlights the importance of social organizations in promoting high-quality economic development; structurally, for the first time, excellent social organizations were invited to contribute ‘innovative cases’ .” At the same time, this book focuses on the five main themes of promoting social organization development through party building, social organization construction and development, social organization assistance in economic development, social organization role in people’s livelihood, and social organization participation in conflict and dispute mediation.
