In order to subsidize outstanding full-time philanthropy talents in China to enroll in the EMP program and facilitate the ability improvement of professionals in China's charity industry, we established the "CGPI Love Scholarship" in early 2021. Since its launch in March, we have successively received applications from outstanding full-time philanthropy workers nationwide. The first batch of scholarship winners will enter the 15th term of the EMP program!
In this special period when
the challenge of the epidemic has not yet ended, CGPI, as China's first
independently registered philanthropy institute, will continue to bear the
mission of nurturing philanthropic global best practices and help non-profit
organizations to overcome difficulties to innovate and forge ahead. In June
2021, we decided to increase the "CGPI Love Scholarship" to 7 million
yuan, and continued to encourage qualified outstanding philanthropy individuals
to enter for the 16th term of the EMP (Brochures for the 16th term of EMP),
which is scheduled to start in November 2021. At the same time, we will
encourage more cross-industry integration, pair registration and joint action of
the business and philanthropy circles to further promote the progress of human
civilization and the sustainable development of society.
The EMP is China's first
professional program in philanthropy education management and is one of the
core education brand programs of CGPI. Since 2021, we have updated the teaching
system, and paid more attention to the SDG, ESG, corporate social
responsibility, and mutual benefit of economic value and social value on the
basis of the original core compulsory courses "Philanthropy Strategic
Planning and Management", "Fundraising and Resource
Mobilization", etc.; added general elective courses such as "Philanthropy
Narrative and Expression", "Family Philanthropy and
Inheritance", and "Blockchain Philanthropy "; and newly set up the
professional course to discuss and consult students' practical cases. In
addition to top-notch teaching staff from the global philanthropy sector and
academia, such as Ma Weihua, Chen Yueguang, Wang Zhenyao, He Jin, Huang
Haoming, Tang Hao, Heather Grady, Michael Norton, etc., we also specially
invited Ai Luming, Yan Zhi and other well-known teachers from the business
field to lecture.
